Olga, This conference is exactly for teachers like you! I know that Beth and I will be offering extremely practical tips based on our experiences using virtual worlds in public school classrooms. I think the smaller conference size will offer many informal opportunities for K12 folks to hash out ideas! We're all just "regular folks" :)

Olga,
I wouldn't be worried about being out of place. This is still pretty new territory for everybody. For someone just starting to learn about virtual worlds and how they might be implemented with students, I can't think of a better place to do so. -Besides, you could learn a lot about virtual worlds by then and fit right in ;-)

I would like to attend the conference, but I am wondering if I would be out of place as a teacher who is just starting to learn about the virtual worlds and would like to implement their use in my classroom. I would appreciate your advice.
